Weather or Not
In this blog, weather junkies on the Southeast Missourian staff talk about (what else?) the weather. Give us your observations, folk wisdom and Farmers Almanac tales -- it's a weather free for all.

We're all familar with the saying, "If you don't like the weather in Missouri, just wait an hour."
That's certainly true this week as the temperatures yo-yo from warm-cold-warm-cold.
Tonight's low temperature at Cape Girardeau is forecast to plummet to 14°F. If that happens, it would tie the record low for Nov. 13.
By Sunday, the thermometer will rebound into the 60s, but that won't last long: the high for next Tuesday is projected to be only 43.
When warmer air arrives this time of year, we can usually expect rain. Current projections show 1.25+ inch rainfall totals over the next seven days, mostly Saturday night through Monday.
