Weather or Not

Light snow likely on Monday
Posted Friday, February 10, 2012, at 10:01 AM
After a frigid weekend, we have a decent chance at some light snow accumulations Monday night. Don't get too excited: this looks like a typical one or two inch kind of snowfall. It's hardly the kind of system that lives up to the next name on the list, Winter Storm "Pink Floyd".
The GFS computer models paints Cape Girardeau in the pink region for less than 2 inches, with slightly higher accumulations projected to the west over the Ozarks.
Following this next cold snap, we should be right back into the 50s starting Wednesday.
