Maybe I should be picking Power Ball numbers instead of writing a technology blog! The predictions I wrote about in my September 22nd blog all proved to be 100 percent accurate for the newest version of Apple's smartphone.

Since the official announcement of the iPhone 4s last week Apple has set a new record with 1 million phones pre-ordered the first 24 hours. It is widely expected for 3 million units to be put into consumers hands this weekend during the official launch. It is important to note how I worded that. This is because many mobile device manufacturers will have a press release that reads, "300,000 units shipped at launch". The term "Shipped" meaning that they were shipped to phone retailers, Best Buy, or other brick and mortar locations...not actually in the hands of the end user like you and I.
I will be blogging more about the iPhone 4s and its features in the coming weeks. Features like Siri, iMessage, HSPA+ and iCloud are going to have people chatting at the water cooler. Plus I will be doing a complete run down of Apples new iOS5 operating system that is being released today. (iOS5 included with the iPhone 4s, will be a major free upgrade to users of the iPad, iPod Touch, and older iPhones as well.)
