Kathryn Swan was elected to serve District 147 in the Missouri House of Representatives in November 2012. She serves on the following committees: Elementary and Secondary Education, Higher Education, Appropriations-Education, Workforce Development and Workforce Safety, and the Special Standing Committee on Emerging Issues in Health Care. She also serves on the Majority Whip Team and the Speaker's Advisory Committee.

MISSOURI INTERIM COMMITTEE ON ONCOLOGY

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo - Rep. Kathryn Swan (R-Cape Girardeau) will serve as the Vice-chair of the newly formed Missouri Interim Committee on Oncology. The committee will address issues pertaining to cancer diagnosis and treatment. As a breast cancer survivor and a nurse, Swan brings both a professional and personal perspective to the work of the committee.
