Moms do it 366 days a year
Posted Thursday, May 10, 2012, at 11:42 AMMother's Day is fast approaching, and I'm that guy who is waiting until the last minute to find something nice for my mom (and mom-in-law). But this year, I have another mother to think about ... my wife. Our daughter Charlotte is about a month and a half into her life, and already I've started to get why people tell me "congratulations" and "say goodbye to your pre-baby behavior" in the same breath... -

A big entertainment weekend ahead
Posted Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at 12:21 PMI hear it all the time from friends and family: "There's nothing to do this weekend." Well, I can certainly relate to that sentiment on occasion, but not this weekend. There will be music and wine festivals, cabaret and burlesque shows, even Broadway theater (check Friday's SE Live, our new facebook page and www.semoevents.com for more info on all the weekend happenings). But one of my favorite events of the year is Saturday: the 5th Annual Independent Record Store Day... -
