Marching in Jeff City

High school bands from Southeast Missouri will take part in a state capitol parade that welcomes elected statewide officeholders to service.

Jackson and Poplar Bluff high school bands will be among 10 who perform Jan. 14 at the 2013 Inaugural Parade in Jefferson City. They are included at the invitation of Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, according to a press release sent from his office Monday.
