    What's so funny about those directions? My route that I run daily is in Southern Illinois and I can tell you for a fact that the second set of directions is the best and quickest way to get to Metropolis. I don't care what Google says about driving times you can get there quicker taking route #2. It's almost twenty miles shorter and the roads are good.
