Blog with few words: Sandbar at Red Star

The Mississippi River's low stage has exposed a large sandbar below the Red Star boat ramp. Weeds have actually started to sprout in a few places in the sand. This won't last long, however, as the remnants of Hurricane Isaac are poised to deliver much-needed rain and push the river stage back up.
