    Nice post. I've spent alot of time in that area researching history. In 2004 Governor Bob Holden removed the Second National Flag that used to fly beside the U.S. and Missouri flags at the visitor center at Fort Davidson which is a shame, because on the South side of the fort there is yet another historical marker that honors the hundreds of fallen Confederate soldiers which are buried in a mass grave at that location.
