New Restaurant Razing Cain to open March 1
Razing Cain will open at 11 S. Spanish St. next Thursday, March 1, at 4 p.m.
It's the first business to open operated by The Broadway Esquire Entertainment Group, which is also working to renovate the Broadway Esquire Theater and has plans for a Broadway Marquee Diner.
Chef James Cain is joining the Group to lead Razing Cain, described as a polished casual eatery. Cain studied at the International Culinary Schools at the Art Institutes Chicago.
The menu will feature ingredients from local markets with influences in the Mediterranean, Italian and French cuisine. From bacon-wrapped dates to aged steaks and hand-made ravioli, the menu will offer a wide range of price points at the highest quality, according to a news release.
The Broadway Esquire Entertainment Group, which owns and operates Razing Cain Restaurant and Bar, did not assume liability for the outstanding "Mollie's" gift certificates when it purchased the assets of the former Mollie's restaurant.
According to John Buckner, president of the Group, Razing Cain will do its best to honor the gift certificates as they are presented.
Razing Cain wants to encourage gift certificate holders to inform management that they have valid Mollie's gift certificates with they make a reservation.
Razing Cain is now accepting reservations. They can be made by calling (573) 332-1606.
Razing Cain will be open 4 p.m. -- 1:30 a.m. Tuesday -- Saturday and 10 a.m. -- 2 p.m. on Sundays.
