    OK, I have to come clean: she's my wife's niece.

    But, that's not the reason I'm impressed with what she's done in a short time.

    She's managed to broaden the appeal of her antique shop to locals, college students and out-of-towners.

    Laurie "gets" the Internet, and she's doing some of the most innovative web marketing and promotion I've seen come out of Southeast Missouri. Laurie is the kind of person Cape needs to get Old Town Cape on the move.
