The casino opened yesterday to a large crowd, with about 3,600 people coming onto the gaming floor during the first six hours of opening, said Jill Alexander, Isle spokeswoman.

If you have an android phone, you can learn more about what the $135 million Isle Casino Cape Girardeau has to offer by downloading their new app. Isle opens tomorrow at 777 N. Main Street. A ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. will be followed by the casino's official opening to patrons.
Unfortunately for iPhone users, such as myself, there is not an app available at this time. Isle officials say they are waiting for Apple approval on it.
