Riverfront Market Concept Public Forum TuesdayPosted Monday, January 23, 2012, at 2:41 PM
What do you think about having an open air market in downtown Cape Girardeau on Saturdays?
A steering committee working on a riverfront market concept wants your input at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church at 235 Broadway.
The meeting will be facilitated by Charles Hopper, Marketing Specialist from the Missouri Department of Agriculture.
Organizers want the people to share their thoughts at the public forum on what should be offered at the market, where the best location is and what kinds of entertainment and activities should be incorporated. They hope to hear from potential vendors as well as customers.
