New Urgent Care Clinic Opens SaturdayPosted Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at 12:00 AM
The center will open its doors for business Saturday, July 17, at 465 S. Mount Auburn Rd. Suite 103, near the intersection of I-55 and Highway 74.
Dr. Julia Pewitt Kinder and her staff hope to eliminate long waits experienced at other doctor's offices and emergency rooms. Other doctor's on staff include Dr. Bernie Ranchero and Dr. Kevin Martin.
Saturday's open house, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. will include free blood pressure checks, car safety seat inspections, and bike helmet inspections.
The Cape Girardeau Fire Department will have a fire engine on display also. Refreshments and raffle prizes, free t-shirts and guided tours will be offered.
Doctors Express regular hours are Monday--Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
