Pink Squirrel to Open July 4Posted Thursday, June 24, 2010, at 11:03 AM
The former Ed's Bar at 519 Good Hope St. in Cape Girardeau is undergoing renovations to soon re-open as Pink Squirrel.
The building was recently purchased by Scott McClanahan.
The new business is a partnership between McClanahan and Eldon Nattier, who also owns Rose Bed Inn bed and breakfast on Sprigg Street.
The new restaurant and bar will include a theater area where comedians, bands and female impersonators will regularly perform, said McClanahan.
Pink Squirrel will be open seven days a week and will open at 11 a.m. daily.
Both lunch and dinner will be served there.
Pink Squirrel will open for business on July 4.
