Susan Barton Nomination "My science teacher is the best she is always doing experiments with us when we don't understand something. She also has a club called Smart Club smart stands for science and math are really terrific, this is were you stay after school and one week we will do science and the next we will do math. We are currently working in the solar system, she has came up with all kinds of experiments for us to do with this because this is something we have not studied to hard on third grade and down." Charlotte McNeary Nomination "This wonderful Science Teacher at Hearnes Elementary in Charleston has worked tirelessly to make all her students enjoy and understand Science. She began by herself a new science club this year at the school. There are over 100 students that attend the monthly meetings and enjoy every minute of it. Mrs. McNeary is a wonderful person and an excellent teacher and I would love to see her rewarded for everything she has done for our school and our students. It takes a special kind of person to get involved in teaching the way that she does every day in every class."
