Winter on Broadway 1962

Posted Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 12:00 AM

Jan. 19, 1962 Southeast Missourian

Cold and snow always snarl city traffic. The hundreds who drove over slick streets early today inched along and a resulting pile-up on West Broadway resulted. This view, east from Ritter Drive, shows a portion of the traffic which crept bumper-to-bumper along Broadway from Highway 61 to West End Boulevard. (G.D. Fronabarger photo)
