Philmont or Bust

These local explorers and older scouts left early today for Camp Philmont in New Mexico where they will spend 12 days under rough camping experiences on the open trail. The three day trip will include overnight stops in Wichita, Kan., and LaJunta, Colo., where planned activities have been set up. From left to right, front: John D.   • There's a goodly number of folks I recognize in the photo. I don't think I ever heard of anyone who didn't treasure his visit to Philmont.
