Fred Lynch retired in 2018 after capturing images for the Southeast Missourian since 1975, in that time moving from black-and-white to color, from film to digital and to video. The blog title is a nod to an earlier era of news photography and the 4x5 Speed Graphic: It's more important to be there for the shot than to worry about technical details.

Midweek Mystery: More Fashion Fun

G.D. Fronabarger, also known as One-Shot Frony, sometimes took more than one picture at an event. He did so at a fashion show. The date and place are unknown.

Unlike Frony, I got paid by the shot, so I took a lot more pictures than he did. Seeing his fashion show art reminded me that I had a couple of sleeves of negatives marked Teen Age Club Fashion Show 1966.
