"Seig Heil Harry" and the Hypocrisy of the Obamanistas
Posted Friday, January 9, 2009, at 6:47 PM<< Previous | Read comments | Respond | Email link | Next >>
The Democratic Party has long billed itself as "The Big Tent" party, the party of acceptance, the party of the oppressed. Now it is the Party of Obama.
The White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives have now been taken over by a new regime. Those that cried loudest that President Bush was a dictator, are now sending a clear message about who is in control and like the current administration, the "Office of the President-Elect" has its handlers as well, at the top of the list, is Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Democrat from Nevada. The Democratic Party is no longer a "Big Tent". It is now a very small tent, its terms of membership are simple, and there are only two planks to this party:
1. You must vow an oath of loyalty to Barack Obama
Don't believe me? In the "Speak Out" section on the Southeast Missourian website posted Tue. Jan 7,2009 an individual whose screen name is "swampeast missouri" stated:
"Cape didn't support President-elect Obama now many are coming to him with their hand out "give me some too". Amazing how people are"
On the national level we have the scandal involving Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich and his recent appointment of Roland Burris by embattled Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich to fill Barack Obama's senate seat. According to the Jan. 4th, 2009 edition of the New York Times : "Senate leaders have said they intend to prevent the seating of Mr. Burris, given his appointment last week by this state's embattled governor, Rod R. Blagojevich." At the top of the list is "Seig Heil Harry" Reid who, according to the same New York Times article stated: "The Senate had the legal right to bar Mr. Burris from the new session, which begins Tuesday" A legal right based on Burris' lack of credintials? That's funny, because no one is stopping Barack Obama from taking the Oath of Office , despite the fact that his own credentials (i.e. the controversy over his birth records and citizenship) are in question. Why would the Senate Majority Leader who happens to be a member of "The Party of the Oppressed" (or should I say the former "Party of the Oppressed"), oppose the seating of a black man to fill the senate seat of ... a black man? Perhaps the answer lies in an alleged transcript of the Blagojevich wiretaps, published on the Smoking Gun website on December 9th, 2008... "Blagojevich …said that he would not appoint an ally of the President-elect to the Senate vacancy" It is crystal clear, that "Blago" has refused to appoint an ally of Barack Obama. In "Seig Heil Harry" Reid's world this means that Governor Blagojevich's appointment of Roland Burris (though legal) isn't valid. "Seig Heil Harry" has even redefined the Dem's affirmative action policy, by defining (through their handling of the Burris affair) a minority as someone who allies themselves as a Barack Obama loyalist. It also appears, according to the Smoking Gun website transcripts that Governor Blagojevich just might be the first politician to find out what helping Barack Obama gets you... "In a November 11 conversation, Blagojevich remarked that he knew Obama wanted Valerie Jarrett, a longtime confidante, to succeed him, "but they're not willing to give me anything except appreciation." I consider myself to be a "Jeffersonian Democrat", as opposed to the modern Democrat, which probably explains why I voted for Senator John McCain in the presidential election as well as my disgust for hypocrites like "Seig Heil Harry" Reid. wow Clint- you've got guts. I can't believe that SEMissourian didn't pull your blog for not being PC.
Don't get me wrong- I am in complete agreement with you. I only wonder just how long the love fest will last? Do you think the news media can keep up the love fest for 4 years? Won't that get old? And the Democrats themselves are such an argumentative bunch- surely they can't stay in wonderland for 4 long years?
Can any waterhead with a keyboard get a blog at the Missourian these days? What a pathetic rag.
I agree with Matt-D30s. Here is your proof!
I agree with Matt-D30s! Apparently, the SE Missourian will let any "waterhead" blog on their website, because Clint has done it.
Don't get me wrong, I'm no "Neocon" or Defender of "W" either. I voted for Ron Paul in the primary because he was the only candidate who had answers and solutions for the current crise(s) that our country is in.
For instance , he wanted to do away with the Federal Reserve. That's sounding pretty good to me right now, considering the fact that our Congress (Mrs. Emerson included) voted to throw money at the problem and by the way, what a surprise, the news is reporting that there is an "accountability problem" in regards to the "bail out" , imagine that.
McCain wasn't my favorite candidate either, but I figured I would vote for him and live to fight another day so to speak.
But that's neither here nor there, we've got Obama now and his solution is to...print more money.
I think there were alot of "modern" Democrats who voted for Obama thinking that they would see a change in Washington, but his appointments of former Clinton staffers and the strong arm tactics (and hypocrisy)of Senator Reid are a message to those people so that there is no question about who is in charge, and who will set the agenda.
Mobushwhacker wrote "But that's neither here nor there, we've got Obama now and his solution is to...print more money."
So, just a couple of quick questions. Wasn't it Bush who proposed the first "bailout" consisting of tax-payer funds and no oversight to determine how the money was spent?
And according to some news reports this morning, the current President is mulling another round of funds before he leaves office, but, I'll assume that would be okay with you since he is a Republican (who I voted for twice!)?
Just trying to establish a pattern.
It would have been great (from the perspective of a former member of the GOP) if the first black President had been a Republican. The beauty of a Black person from the Party of Lincoln becoming president would have been amazing. However, since the GOP was more interested in rejecting the ideas of Goldwater and "b*llwashing" big oil I guess it just wasn't meant to be.
Wow! If I had the power I'd relieve you of the horrible label of Democrat. Looks like you are one in name only since you voted proudly for McCain/Palin.
President Elect Obama is just that President elect. He will be inagurated and serve whether you like it or not. We have many problems such as: a 7% unemployment rate which soars to 13% if you include UNDEREMPLOYMENT. ( people who had good jobs at factories and businesses making a living wage and are now working minimum wage jobs....sometimes 2 or 3 of them just to get by.)
We also need affordable healthcare for EVERYONE. The people who lost their good jobs lost their insurance. Many people who have small businesses cannot afford health insurance for themselves and their employees.
Bollinger County has many people who are suffering in poverty without help and hope. Why don't you try helping them?
Perhaps you have an answer as to why a "Democrat Senator" from Minn is suppose to be seated even though it is obvious to the world (or only those who want to see the truth) that the 'recount' was only a way to steal and create the votes? I worked in elections (the actual cleaning and correcting ballot problems) for years and have never seen such blatant fraud.
the only thing I have to say is, it looks like this blog is another waste of perfectly good webspace
OK, some clarifications are in order here. First things first, I said I am a "Jeffersonian" Democrat, there's a big difference.
Second, Bush ran this country straight into the ground, no doubt about it, I have been equally critical of him.
Third, I can only try to help the people of Marble Hill. As an alderman those are the only citizens I represent.
You are right, many people in Bollinger County are suffering, that's why I actively campaigned for Michael Winder for State Representative.
Mike had alot of "Jeffersonian" principals, but he understood the needs of those in the 156th District.
He was Pro-Life, Pro-Gun and Pro-working man.
However; The people of Bollinger County opted for Keeney.
"Live Another Day":
You are right, Franken seems to have stolen the election in Minnesota, with the blessing of many within the party.
My guess is that they perceive it is payback for Florida in 2000.
Franken is a piece of garbage. Sad that Minn. has produced a governor who was a former WWF wrestler and now allowed Stuart Smally to steal a senate seat.
I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggonit if people don't like me I'll sue to get a recount find some magical ballots, and steal the seat.
Yikes. There are so many problems with this I don't even know where to begin.

Speaking of Hypocrisy; It seems ironic that Clint is critical of Harry Reid, while comparing him to Hitler. It would seem that Hitler would be an icon to Clint's political beliefs, as Clint appears to be Neo-Nazi who goes under the guise of "Jeffersonian Democrat". Clint's label of "Jeffersonian Democrat", should not be confused for our founding father, Thomas Jefferson, but refers to Jefferson Davis; The head of the Confederate Party (The Civil War is over. Let it go!) Clint appears to be very manipulative in making his political points and the use of logic seems to escape him.

That's because the Missourian is an outwardly Republican opinion based paper. Didn't you see how they deleted comments about Emerson and Bond?? PC for the Missourian means PC = Prejudice "if favor of" Conservatives.
Oh Clint, quit typing and come out of that white supremist closet. Take off that cloak of hate and join Obama in getting this country back on its feet. I'm sure he would welcome your assistance.

Thank You for making my point "Snoopdog". With the election of Barack Obama, the Democratic Party has gone to a full blown Socialist / Marxist platform.
Clearly "Snoopdog" is one of the Obama Loyalist, who believes the "Big Tent Party" has no room for "Jeffersonian" ,"Southern" or even "Centrist" Democrats
The Definition of a "Jeffersonian Democrat":
http://www.geocities.com/clintlacy1/jeffersoniandemocrats.html
As for the remarks regarding the Confederate Government I would recommend an article entitled "The Hampton Roads Peace Conference" and you will find that in reality...
"the South wanted independence, not the protection of slavery, and the North wanted reunion rather than abolition of slavery. This is what President Lincoln had stated in the very beginning before the war and again what he had stated near the end of the war. "

Clint,
The IQ level of leftists appears to be somewhat crippled. Perhaps, therefore, you should take pity upon them. For example, "jakebanzai" actually wrote (and I'm not kidding): "The beauty of a Black person from the Party of Lincoln becoming president would have been amazing." Apparently Mr. J. Banzai has not completed his education yet, since he does not know that Lincoln was racist and would gladly have signed the "original" 13th Amendment (making slavery forever legal in the original America). Amusing, though. President-elect Hussein is but half black, and was raised in a white family. What makes Mr. J. Banzai call him "a Black person" (and why is black capitalised, by the way?). In any case, the only thing "amazing" would be a white-black person coming from the Black Republicans of the 1800s.
Then there is the usual leftist name-calling. A "teafortwo" called you a "waterhead," as did a "Matt-D30s" (couple virile names there, eh?). But more telling of the leftist IQ deficiency is the glaring lack of logic in their communications (or attempt at same). Thus, because Bush did X it is just dandy that Hussein does X. (According to Mr. J. Banzai: "Wasn't it Bush who proposed the first "bailout" consisting of tax-payer funds and no oversight to determine how the money was spent?") A simple course in basic logic should reveal the embarrassing fact that because Person A did Event X does not mean that Event X is right (or wrong) because Person B does Event X. Event X must stand on its own. At least if you go by logic, which is to say, using one's noggin.
Perhaps my favorite example of logic-crippled posts to your article was by Mr. Harvey Joe, who whined that your blog was a "waste of perfectly good webspace." Now, allowing that "perfectly good webspace" is itself ipso fact undefinable, old Harvey Joe actually violated his own logic by posting to a "waste" of that "perfectly good webspace." If it is a Very Bad Thang for Clint Lacy to "waste perfectly good webspace," does it not follow, again using Logic 101, that it is also a Very Bad Thang for Mr. Harvey Joe to do the same?
Ah, but how about the downright ouch-embarrassing comments of Mr. T. Salad? After the usual leftist name-calling (Clint, didn't know you were a Neo-Nazi), Salad attempts a derogation of President Jefferson Davis of the Confederate States of America by attempting to link President Davis with a "Confederate Party." It would appear that Mr. Salad does not know that what he calls a "civil war" was actually the opposite: a war between two countries (and certainly not parties). He also does not know what most Yankees, of course, do not know: the War is not over, nor will it ever be. There is no letting go. Nor should there be. The only good Yankee...but I digress.
My plantation hat off to you, Mr. Lacy, for daring to speak the truth, even in front of the mentally challenged (is that the PC formulation?). As far as the seating of Burris, a simple reading of the document known as the Constitution of the United States of America should set thangs straight. Even for the leftists, presuming their reading skills are adequate to the task.

Geez Mr. Galway Moss - you must have missed a Klan meeting to compose that little missive.
A person with their head less planted firmly in their arse would, for instance, clearly understood my point about a black person (lower case, happy now?) becoming President from the GOP. Ever heard of Thadeus Stevens (you may have burned him in effigy)?
Now, off to the dry cleaners with you - your sheets are clean (extra startch).
Enough all ready Clint! You want to talk trash but yet your the one who seems to have the biggest problem. Your a troubled man that can't seem to find peace with yourself in any mater. Your nothing more than a white sheet clansmen.
My god boy grow up and get some brains. Obama is President and he earned it. We can rest knowing that you will be right there to point out everything he does wrong. But there again anyone who believes Alex Jones, needs mental help anyway.
The same freedom of speech that your so quick to use is the very thing that you should be thankful far.
I'm sorry but using "White Sheets" as the sole basis of your arguments against me shows a lack of education and is an act of desperation.
If you want to talk about racism, then let's open the discussion to include Trinity United Church of Christ and the good Reverend Wright as well as President Elect Obama's 20 year association with them.
But then again... maybe the "White Sheet" accusations are merely a diversion in an attempt to divert attention away from the hypocrisy of "Seig Heil Harry" and the rest of the gain in their opposition to Blago's appointment of Roland Burris.
I know for the rabid National Socialist / Marsists who have taken over the Democratic Party, facts mean nothing, but if you could open your minds a little you might find the following sight very interestng. Please visit it and educate yourselves:

Wow, in all honesty I stopped reading after I got to the part about the legal matter and whether or not Obama has the legal right to run for President. I mean honestly where did they dig you up, i've played along for a bit, but this is ridiculous. You do realize that if one of your parents is a U.S. citizen you are a citizen by birth right, or did you sleep during civics? You know the class that teaches you about citizenship. Last time I checked Obama's mother was from KANSAS, and his grandfather was a WORLD WAR II VET. Not to mention do you think the most powerful nation on earth would let a man who isn't qualified be let on the ballot? For crying out loud man, take the historian off your biography because its embarrassing.
