More and more losses in the business community.Posted Monday, February 4, 2013, at 2:35 PM
Since I took over the business desk last month, I've reported on a string of local business closures. Blockbuster, Buckner's, Pop's Pizza, Yvonne's Restaurant, Lang Jewelry & Fine Gifts...and today I got a call that Classroom Connect, a teaching supply store in Town Plaza is having a liquidation/going-out-of-business sale.
Now, I've also reported on a number of new and upcoming businesses...Medicare Pharmacy, Safari Playland, Ferguson Enterprises, Riverview Court, SEMO Party Bus.
Still, that seems like a lot of losses. What do you think? What is going on?
