Don't be embarrassed to seek psychological or emotional help
Often you're embarrassed to admit you may need to seek psychological or mental help. Don't be! Hello again. I am so happy to be able to correspond with you, my readers again. I have been experiencing sadness regarding the death of my niece who recently died. She left behind a daughter, husband and mother, to name a few people. I can resume my normal activities again now.
It has been brought to my attention that numerous people refuse to seek mental or emotional help because they are embarrassed. They think others will think they are "crazy" or unstable. This has always been true, but modern times have changed that attitude or way of looking at emotional problems. Talking with a counselor, psychiatrist, or another person who can help you is sometimes all you need.
A friend who cares for you and will listen can often solved your dilemma. You can be extremely tired or you're feeling unloved, unsuccessful, or just out-of-sorts. Regardless you need to find someone who can help you.
If you think you're depressed excessively, by all means see a doctor or therapist. You may have a chemical imbalance that the appropriate medicine can cureGirl with bag of apple. Or you may need to talk about your problems. Regardless, don't try to medicate yourself, or let your frame of mind go unattended. You visit a medical professional if you have an illness and you're not embarrassed, and emotional illness should be viewed the same way.
We all like to always give the appearance that everything is great with us. You believe that people will not desire your companionship if "there's something wrong with you." Believe me, something is wrong with everyone.
So if you're feeling down, unsuccessful, or unloved, draw on a higher power, seek professional help, a clergy person, or another to help you. Above all LOVE YOURSELF. You are divine, too, because you are a child of God. Realize that and believe that you're special and wonderful.
I will blog more often now, so be sure to check my site and comment or email me. I would love to hear from you. If you like my posts here, you may want to get my book Wisdom for the Journey.
Take care and God Bless,
