Safeguard Your Thoughts
Does safeguarding your thoughts sound impossible? To many, it may. But, as I often write, thoughts determine such a huge part of life you can't ignore their ramifications. Scripture even says "As a man thinks, so he is." Proverbs
Ah-a, if you only realized the truth of the statement, you would keep your thoughts under lock and key. As you think things will be is how they will turn out. You have already assigned a result by the way you think.
If you believe you will be successful, you will be. Yes truly! You may say that you always believe things will turn out good, but they don't. "Why," It's either because you failed to follow good business, or relationship practices or your faith wavered. Like thoughts attract right results. The same is true of negative ones. You must control how you think. Sometimes you don't realize that you're being negative, until you catch yourself. Perhaps it's hidden in your subconscious.
Right thought can be called by many names. "You reap what you sow, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, ( a favorite of my mother's) Karma. Your thoughts determine your actions, so regardless of what name you call it, right thoughts decide, what action you will take, or how much faith you have.
If you throw a ball against the wall, it will come bouncing back. If you throw it in a straight line it will come to you in like manner. If it hits crooked, it will bounce back in the same direction. See how important thoughts are in determining how your life turns out! I am not taking God out of the equation either because God directs our thoughts. if we make the effort to steer them in the right direction.
Good thoughts bring good results, even if we can't immediately see them. "What we think comes upon us writes." James Allan, British Author and Philosopher. Right thought is so important that St. Paul, says " Whatever is lovely, whatever is praiseworthy," and so on, "think upon these things." Philippians 4:8
Do you try to control your thoughts directing them toward the positive or do you allow them to ramble? What are your results?Comment and let us know.
Take care and God Bless,
