  • I am 77 years old and retired. My daily routine is pretty much the same Monday thru Saturday. I get up at about the same time. Shave and then get dressed. Then get in the car, drive to Burger King and have coffee while working the daily crossword puzzle. Then I am joined by an older friend who joins me in digesting the daily newspaper. After about an hour & half, I go back home and find my wife is now out of bed and doing her thing. I have another cup of coffee while reading all my email and checking a few on-line places. By that time it is lunchtime. After lunch I turn on the TV tuned to Fox. I then lay down on the couch and promply doze off for a nap that lasts about an hour. After that, I just piddle around the house, sometimes doing things for my wife. Early evening we watch TV from 5 PM until 7 PM. Then while my wife watches her programs on TV, I return to the computer to kill time until I return to the TV for the 10 o'clock news. My wife then reads and goes to bed. I watch Letterman or others and promptly go to sleep on the couch again. I then wake up around

2 AM and proceed to bed.

I would consider my "daily ness of life" as excitingly mundane.....
