Keeping Tradition: Jaycee Toybox and Christmas for the Elderly

It is hard to believe that another holiday season is upon us and yet, here we are... cooler temperatures, discounts on Thanksgiving Turkeys, and Christmas cheer filling the shelves of stores everywhere. With this season of joy and thanksgiving, comes another tradition- the tradition of the Jaycee Christmas programs, Toybox and Christmas for the Elderly.

For 39 years, the Jaycees have been spreading Christmas spirit to families and seniors in need throughout the city of Cape Girardeau. Every year we look to the community for your support and generosity in the spirit of the season and every year, you make it happen. As we approach the hustle and bustle that settles in throughout the months of November and December, please remember us. Add the children of the Jaycee Toybox to your Christmas list and remember to support the elderly of our community through your generous donations.

This weekend, locations throughout the city will be placing their collection boxes out for your gifts. Monetary donations are accepted at
