The Cape Girardeau Roller Girls is Southeast Missouri's women's flat-track roller derby league. The league's goal is to promote athleticism and sportsmanship while empowering women. Holly has been skating most of her life. She joined the team in May 2010 and plays as a blocker. In her regular life, she works as a copy editor at the Southeast Missourian.
A very derby summer

Whew. What a summer! The Cape Girardeau Roller Girls have been busy, practicing hard and planning events. Here's a rundown! CGRG recently held a Facebook contest to name our A and B teams. We took all the names, held a team vote, and the results are in: Melissa Hamilton submitted the winning name for the CGRG B Team: The Rage Brigade, and Stacey Chicora submitted the winning CGRG A Team name: The Abusement Company...
