Pulaski County UFO discovered during ghost hunt?

I was working on a much longer blog, which I hope to post soon, but came across this story tweeted by @GhostHunterBlog.

MUFON: UFO Caught on Camera While Ghosthunting

In summary, a team of ghost hunters took some photos in a couple of cemeteries in Pulaski County. I have no idea what group this is or if they are affiliated with any other group. When the team sat down to review the evidence, a strange image was seen on one of the photos. There are links to the photos in the story.

What do you all think? This is an intriguing photo, but personally, after bumping the contrast using Photoshop, I'm guessing it's just water on the lens. Also, part of the "UFO" is obscured by shrubbery, which lends itself to matrixing. Matrixing is when your mind tries to make sense of unfamiliar shapes by putting them together in a familiar shape. One of the best ways this has been explained to me is our ability to recognize various fonts. People are able to read different fonts because our minds recognize the shapes of the letters, even if it's a font we've never seen before.

This is of concern to me in relation to this story because one of the researchers states, "Also noticed in other photographs are humanoid looking faces with two black stripes painted upon their cheeks." Sounds like the environment might have been very conducive to matrixing. Unfortunately, we don't have those pictures to analyze.

For another time after some research on the date of the story in the St. Louis papers, an explanation will be provided about a 1967 UFO in Cape that was seen by hundreds, chased by several sheriffs departments, and searched for by planes from Scott AFB.

@semowasp: I am familiar with the 1941 UFO sighting, the 1967 story didn't ring any bells. Thanks for the info! I'll do some reading on that.
