SAY HELLO TO HOLLY AND EMILY.......
In every production there is a co-director and a lights and sound person. Today I will tell you about these two people and the role they play in our upcoming production "A Christmas Cactus."
Holly Raines holds the title of co-director in this show. Holly has been with River City Players for going on seven years now. She has appeared in several productions, the first of which was "A Few Good Men." Other productions she has appeared in include "Deathtrap," "Steel Magnolias", "Barefoot in the Park," and "Getting Sara Married," for which she won the Abbott Award for Best Actress in a supporting role. She just finished directing our last show "The Smell of the Kill" in September.
Emily Hornburg will be filling the role of sound and lights. This is Emily's second time helping behind the scenes for RCP and she is so excited. She has also done lights and sound for "Acedamia Nuts" and filled in during "A Night in the Theatre" while playing several roles in that production. Can you say talented???? She said it is so fun being able to pick out Christmas music this time around! Emily works as a youth minister at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. She also loves to read, write, play piano, and sit at Starbucks with her dog Bandit. You can check out her random thoughts, ideas, and whatever else she is up to a www.lovewokemeupthismorning.com
Our last show of this 2012 Season opens on November 9 and continues on November 10, 15, 16, and 17. The November 15 date is the show only with the other dates being the Dinner Shows. All of our productions are held at Port Cape located at 19 N. Water Street. For reservations call 573-334-0954. As always I will see you at the Theatre!
