LET ME INTRODUCE YOU........Part 5
Today I would like to introduce you to the youngest cast memeber of "Faith County" Abby Ritter. She has taken on the role of Violet the young, expecting, mother that is friends with the rest of the ladies and gents living and exsisting in the small community know as Faith County. Abby is fifteen years old and is currently a freshman at Notre Dame High School. She has lived in Cape Girardeau for nine years. Abby absolutely loves theatre and anything to do with it. In 2009, when she was in seventh grade she was on the stage crew for Central Junior High School's production of "Cinderella," and the next year she was cast as Frau Schmidt in "The Sound of Music." Last summer she went to Harvard for four weeks to study acting with the New York Film Academy's summer teen program. Abby will tell you that was by far one of the best months of her life. Last fall she played the role of Fairy May in the Notre Dame production of "The Curious Savage," and she recently participated in the construction crew for their spring musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie." In that production Abby got to share the stage with her older sister Jessie as she got cast the title character. Along with acting she loves to write poems, short stories, and novels. Abby hopes to continue both of her passions throughout her life. River City Players feels so lucky that Abby found us and hope to see her around for several more years. Not only is she a talented actor she has experience behind the scenes. If you would like to watch Abby waddle, scream, and complain about the trials of being an expecting mother then you simply must make reservations today by calling Port Cape at 334-0954. You have several options to choose from. The Dinner Shows are May 6,7,13,and 14 which is a Prime Rib Buffet for $30 or you can attend our Mother's Day Dessert Matinee for $20 or if you so choose the show only that will be on May 12 for $15. No matter which one you choose to attend you will find yourself caught up in the lives of these people living in the south out in the middle of no where enjoying the simple life at the State Fair. See you there!
