Bobbie blogs about dogs as she lives with mostly hounds. While no longer rescuing, she maintains Silverwalk Hounds Sanctuary for the remaining Sanctuary dogs as well as occasional fosters. She enjoys talking about dogs, including rescue, fostering and adoption.

WALTERDAY

Most of us may have thought today was Saturday. Those of us at Silverwalk Hounds know differently - we know it was Walterday.

Walter was everywhere; a normally sedate senior black and tan Coonhound, he was running, bombing into photos and videos, making absolutely sure we all knew he is here, is alive, and wants some loving - which he got in spades cause he

is so very lovable
wouldn't take "no" for an answer
wouldn't leave anyone alone till he was well petted.

Walter jumped over the new blind Beagle just arrived, he wagged his tail till our legs hurt, and he stood up to make himself counted.

Walter, no one who ever meets you cannot help but fall in love with you. By the way, Walter is VERY adoptable!
