United We Read - esp. about Dogs
We sure do - especially a book as heart-warming and generous of spirit as W. Bruce Cameron's A Dog's Purpose. Join up, read this book, discuss it at a venue, and look forward to reading its sequel, A Dog's Journey.
I saw Kelly Goff, director of the Humane Society, is leading one discussion; I'll discuss & share at Central, Tues. Feb. 12, with multiple students; may even be able to bring a dog!
"A heart-warming and entertaining story for readers of all ages!
The goal of United We Read is to get many people in the community and surrounding areas to read the same book. This is a great way to promote literacy in our area! As part of the program, there will be different events and happenings throughout the month of February-- some conducted by the CHS Library and some by other people (like you!) in the community. We are looking for people who have read/will soon read the book to help with these events in leading book discussions or other activities that relate to the story. This is a great story for anyone who loves dogs that you won't soon forget!"
