Home for the Holidays! Yeah, Cindy Lou!

HA.  It worked.  I had a call early this past week asking about fostering a dog over the holidays.  Silverwalk is a participating member of "Home for the Holidays," a collaborative effort between Petfinder, Petco and IAMs to encourage short term fostering during the holiday season.   Personally, I think short term fostering over Christmas could be too much for some but will be a boon for Cindy Lou Who :).   Cindy is an outgoing, confident little Beagle girl who, I am sure, is only missing her home because she dug out under the fence and got lost.  She will do well in a busy holiday home.   So, bah, humbug, you ol' Grinch!

A. called, completed an adoption application since I don't have a separate foster app., came to visit both Oxford and Cindy today.  As we talked both dogs and horses, she decided Cindy Lou Who will be the lucky dog to spend Christmas in St. Louis w/A. and her family.   She had seen the movie previously featured here - "A Dog named Christmas" - and had followed up the information following to find a local rescue.  Walaa - Silverwalk was right there.  At the very least, Cindy Lou will meet more and new people, Silverwalk has a new friend/foster and Petfinder, Petco and IAMs have shown success for one small, very, very sweet Beagle.
