Make the Switch to WPSD Local 6 in November

Monday, October 27, 2008

Several of you have approached me over the past year telling me how much you have missed my science segment on the tube. I have some great news, WPSD Local 6 is the new home for Hooked on Science. Starting in November you can watch the segment during Local 6 Saturday, which airs from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. My family and I will continue to call southeast Missouri home and I look forward to bringing more science to southeast Missouri in the years ahead.

Watch Local 6 Today on Thursday, November 6th from 6 a.m. until 7 a.m. for a special Hooked on Science Segment. I will use a trash can, shower curtain, bungee cord, and smoke machine to prove air takes up space.

The Hooked on Science segment airs on television stations in Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, and Kentucky and reaches more than 700,000 homes.

RADIOactive

Also, I'm teaming up with KZIM KSIM to bring more science to southeast Missouri via the radio. Listen for the new RADIOactive science segment starting in November. On Friday, November 7th at 8:40 a.m. Lindsey and radio host Faune Riggin will launch Rocket Balloons in studio. Click HERE to listen LIVE on November 7th.
