Ear Infections and Obesity...Is There A Link?Monday, October 20, 2008
All three of my kids have experienced serious ear infections. So much so, they've ended up with tubes. I recently found an interesting study that suggests children who get serious ear infections are twice as likely to become obese later in life. The study claims frequent ear infections tend to make kids develop a strong preference for fatty foods. Click HERE for the complete study. What do you think? Should I be concerned with my kids becoming obese later in life? Comments The nature of the Internet makes it impractical for our staff to review every comment. I never thought about that, but I would be considered obese, and I have 3 sets of tubes in my ears as a kid.
