Black team wins Game 2 of Steak and BeansSunday, October 12, 2008
The Black team rallied to defeat the Gray team 11-10 on Saturday in Game 2 of the Southeast Missouri State baseball program's Steak and Beans World Series. Daniel Schuh allowed eight runs, six earned, over two innings to pick up the win on the mound. Jim Klocke picked up the save. Blake Slattery led the Black team's offensive explosion, going 3-for-5 with two runs scored. Matt Wagner went 2-for-4 with four RBIs in the win. He homered once. Stephen Massie led the Gray team at the plate with two hits and four RBIs. Nick Harris drove in three runs in the loss, which evened the series at 1-1. Todd Strahlendorf started for the Black team and allowed one hit over five innings.
