Jessica LeGrand

Jessica Lindsay LeGrand, 21, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born July 10, 1987, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William Joseph and Sally Rochelle Herzog LeGrand.

LeGrand was a receptionist at the office of Dr. Bill Ogborn. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo.

Survivors include her father, Bill LeGrand of Kelso; her mother, Sally LeGrand of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Nate LeGrand of Kelso; a nephew, Tyson LeGrand of Kelso; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Herzog of St. Mary, Mo., Pat and Rick Noll of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; paternal grandfather, Ervin LeGrand of Kelso; maternal great-grandmother, Leatha Brown of Ste. Genevieve.

Friends may call at St. Augustine Church from 4 to 8 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 8, followed by Knights of Columbus prayers at 8:15.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for medical expenses.
