Vikings overcome Bush's record night, escape New Orleans with victoryTuesday, October 7, 2008
NEW ORLEANS — Ryan Longwell's 30-yard field goal with 13 seconds left lifted the Minnesota Vikings to a 30-27 comeback victory over the New Orleans Saints on Monday night, spoiling a record-tying performance by Reggie Bush. Bush returned two punts for touchdowns — one 71 yards, one 64 — as the Saints, who trailed by 10 points in the second quarter, took a 27-20 lead in the fourth quarter. But Gus Frerotte led the Vikings (2-3) back into a tie with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Bernard Berrian. Martin Gramatica missed a 46-yard attempt that could have given the Saints (2-3) the lead with two minutes left. Berrian then drew a pass interference call, setting up the winning kick. — AP Respond to this story You are not logged in. Please login or create an account.

The Bell City volleyball team has won district titles and qualified for the state tournament before. It's nothing new for the Cubs.
