East team wins Hieronymos Cup

The East team defeated the West squad 16-12 in the Hieronymos Cup, a Missouri Golf Association match-play event hosted Saturday and Sunday at Dalhousie Golf Club.

The format consisted of 28 matches overall — seven 4-ball, seven alternate shot and 14 singles.

Tyler Stalker of Springfield, Mo., carded a hole in one during the competition. Stalker aced the 201-yard No. 13 with a 5-iron.

McClard fires ace at Dalhousie

Zane McClard of Cape Girardeau recorded his first career hole in one Saturday at Dalhousie Golf Club.

McClard used a 6-iron to ace No. 13, a par 3 playing 160 yards. Witnesses were Bruce McClard, Ryan McClard and Brent Reese.
