Tonight, the city of Delta hosts a public hearing on the proposed water and sewer rate increase. The city will hear comments at 7 p.m. at the Delta Community Center , 211 E. State St. City hall is inside the community center.

Thursday morning, county commissions for Cape Girardeau and Scottt will host their regular meetings. I expect to get Scott county's agenda any minute and will past as soon as possible. Meanwhile, the budget continues to draw Cape Girardeau County commissioners' attention.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. in the Cape Girardeau County administrative office building, 1 Barton Squ. in Jackson.

OPEN SESSION – Approval of Minutes

The County Commission may, as part of their regular/open meeting, conduct any such business that may come before the Commission.
