Frazzled, Good question! We'll have to find out.
Bob76, the goat is in a halter-like device used for grooming.
The Boer goats were really cool to watch. I just finished writing a story about them for Monday's paper...

why haven't we seen a story about all of the land the park board has purchased near the park just for parking cars for the fair?

"Next Saturday, contestants will have five minutes to cram as many hot dogs down their throats as possible, with a $30 prize for the winner. Later in the day, participants will dress as celebrities and strut to music. Another new event is a mother/daughter, father/son look-alike contest."
Anybody want to bet that this will draw a bigger crowd than anything the River Campus has put on this year?

Bob76,
I ain't fer shur, but it looks like a device that prevents the goat from turning it's head, maybe to prevent biting, just my guess.
It appears to be more than a simple harlter.
