FEMA approves funds for Missouri flood relief
ST. LOUIS — The federal government has approved more than $6 million in disaster aid for Missouri residents and businesses that suffered flood damage. Part of the money consists of grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The rest is in the form of loans from the Small Business Administration. The disaster aid will go to those affected by flooding from June 1 to July 18. About $3.2 million of the approved money will help Missourians pay for temporary housing and home repairs.
