Parking illegally in a space reserved for the handicapped? Not cool. Parking illegally in a space reserved for the handicapped, and running from police when they try to give you a citation? Even less cool. Apparently some individuals got busted around 2:30 today parking illegally in one of these spaces, and took off as an officer was writing them a ticket. My co-workers frequently hassle me about my (lack of) parking skills, and how my G6 tends to occupy more than one parking place in the Southeast Missourian parking lot. "Princess parking," managing editor Bob Miller has called it. However, I do make an effort to keep my haphazard parking away from handicapped spaces.

I think I know what you're talking about. If it was at Target, they were running because they were serial shoplifters, who the security people at Target had been watching for a long time. When will criminals learn that if you want to get away with crime, the key is to NOT draw attention to yourself?
