PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Robert L. Blessing, 68, of Perryville died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 28, 1939, at Crystal City, Mo., son of Mary Ann Blessing. He and Patricia DuVall were married Aug. 5, 1961, in Perryville.

Blessing was a factory worker and farmer.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Vickie Otte; two sons, Bobby and Darrell Blessing, all of Perryville; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Thursday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be Wednesday night, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
