Mary Burton, 54, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at her home. She was born Aug. 26, 1956, in Cairo, Ill., to Robert and Lily Mae Henderson Burton. Survivors include two daughters, Angel Alder of Cape Girardeau, Amanda Alder of Chicago; a son, Wesley Welch of Metropolis, Ill.; her mother and stepfather, Lily Mae and Roy Modglin of Cape Girardeau; her father, Robert Burton of Olive Branch, Ill.; four brothers, Jerry, Timmy, Roger and John Burton; seven sisters, Bobbye Jo, Martha, Sandra, Christi and Lisa Burton, Lisa Noles and Lahoma Badger; nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews; other relatives; and many friends.. ...
